O God, you are the source of love. We give you thanks for your love for us and we understand we participate in your love as we love others. May our hearts be open to you and all those around us. This we pray in Jesus name. AMEN.

Cindy Carlson wrote yesterday in an email that they did not abort Gene’s procedure on Tuesday, there was just more infection and they had to go back in on Wednesday. Please continue to lift up Gene and Cindy in your prayers.
Carolyn and I were very impressed with the doctor yesterday. He encouraged us to keep the appointment in Dallas in two weeks, then we will get back with him. Your thoughts, prayers and continued expressions of concern and support are greatly appreciated.
