O God without limits,
We come to you humbly, thanking you for our blessings and singing Your praises. We are a people of boundaries and borders. We find ways to limit our interactions with certain other people and groups. Touch our hearts and our eyes, O God, so that we may see your image in all those around us. In Jesus name, AMEN.

I received and interesting phone call this morning. Paul Johnson, a member of the First Christian Church in Amarillo, is biking from Amarillo to a town in Missouri for his nephew’s wedding in mid August. In an attempt to defray expenses, he is looking for places to stay along the way and will be in Enid this Saturday, planning to leave Sunday morning around 7:00 a.m. On Saturday he plans to bike from Woodward to Enid. I told him it is supposed to be 105 in Enid today. He knows he will be battling heat along the way. Here is the question. Would you be willing to host this brave soul for Saturday night? If so, then call the church office and we will get word to Paul. I told him that he could certainly stay on a couch in the Youth Room and use our showers, but a home stay would probably be better. If you are interested, call Kandy.
Grace and peace,
John McLemore
