Prayer for Today, Monday,October 25

O Loving God,

There are times in our lives when everything seems upside down and we are disoriented, not knowing what to do or where to turn. There are times when our faith seems weak and inadequate. Help us to understand, O God, that the strength of your love in not diminished by the weakness of our faith. In the turmoil of life may we focus on the Polar Star that is Jesus the Christ which will help us navigate through the storms and difficulties. We pray you will calm the seas. We pray we regain our bearings. We pray your will be done in us, all this through the power and presence of the Holy Spirit. AMEN.

Congratulations to Loretta Richey on the arrival of two new grandchildren in October. William Joseph Holloway was born on October 20. His parents are Mark and Penny Holloway. The Holloways live in Enid. Ethan James Drennan was born on October 2. His parents are Brendan and Lisa Drennan. They live in Waxahachie, Texas.

Please pray for Wanda Gungoll, Irene Green’s sister in Bass Hospital. She received good news on her cancer, but she was burned by hot tea and is severely blistered.

Please pray for our church and the Pony Express run. The saddlebags are on moving on the routes.

Grace and peace,

John McLemore
