Patient God,
Sometimes the events of life take us to unfamiliar places. Nothing looks right. We seem lost and can’t get our bearings. Help us to remember that Jesus is our polar star. As we focus on his life and ministry we become reoriented toward you. Even in dark days and stormy seas, you are there. May our trust sustain us during the upheavals of life. We thank you for the embrace of your everlasting arms. In Jesus name we pray, AMEN.

Harry Congdon’s funeral is today at 2:00 p.m. A number of our members are helping with a funeral luncheon at 11:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
Tomorrow is the Lord’s Day. May we gather as children of God to study, have fellowship and worship. Bring a friend with you.
Tomorrow is also the Horn of Plenty Food Drive.
Grace and peace,
John McLemore
