Prayer for Today, Saturday, October 30

O Love That Will Not Let Us Go,

You have created us with an empty space that only you can fill, O God. Even when we feel unworthy, even when we believe our sin is too great, your grace flows over us, filling every space and place within us, and we are set free. All that we have to do is to repent and turn into your embrace. Please forgive us. Come into our hearts now, we pray, and fill us. We are expectant and ready. In Jesus name, AMEN.

Wanda Gungoll, Irene Green’s sister, and Richard cook, Bob Park’s son-in-law, are both at Bass Hospital. Wanda will likely be released on Monday. Richard is having surgery on Wednesday.

June Petersen is in St. Mary’s Hospital. She fell yesterday and broke her nose. It will require surgery.

Carol Miller, Kyle Miller’s father, is also at St. Mary’s.

Please pray for all our hospitalized.

Twyla Tefft, Scott Tefft’s mother, is under Hospice Care at the Methodist Home. Please pray for Twyla and her family.

The Civitan dance yesterday evening was a great success with a record number of attendees, most of whom came in costume. Our church was very well represented. Thanks to all who helped.

Trunk or Treat is Sunday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.

Please be present in one of our weekend worship experiences and BRING A FRIEND.

Grace and peace,

John McLemore
