O Loving Creator,
In the midst of the noise and hurry of life we pause on this Sabbath day to give you thanks for all our blessings. The world around us is on “full speed”. Slow us down, Lord, and speak to us in the quiet and still moments, calming our hearts. Help us, we pray, to find those times and places where there is a “thinness” between the mortal and the eternal, where there is little that separates us from you. In those times may we feel the embrace of your love. In Jesus name, AMEN.
