O Gracious God,
Weekends provide most of us with opportunities for leisure and relaxation. Help us, O Lord, to be wise in our use of leisure time. Forgive us, we pray, when we fail to set aside time to praise you as a part of our weekend schedule. May we honor you with our presence in worship. In Jesus name, AMEN.

Chester Ross is in St. Mary’s Hospital room 307 with pneumonia. Please pray for Chester and Doris.
The Market of Blessings is in full swing in the Fellowship Hall. It runs from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. today and tomorrow.
Tomorrow afternoon a few of us from Central will participate in a CROP walk for hunger relief. There will be a donation jar at the Welcome Center. Please make a contribution to support our walkers. One half of the money raised will go to Horn of Plenty. The balance will be sent to Church World Service for global hunger relief.
Tomorrow the Elders will meet at 5:00 p.m. in the Parlor. At 5:30 p.m. the Elders and Deacons will meet together in the Fellowship Hall. All Elders and Deacons are encouraged to attend.
