O Ever-present Love,
This is the day You have made. We rejoice and are glad in it. As we come to you today in prayer we reflect on the various roads that have brought us to this place. We pray for Your forgiveness for the times when we chose the darker path, one motivated by greed, anger, doubt, revenge or hubris. We thank You for Your presence on the entire journey and for your grace which sustained us and brought us back to you. Now as we look ahead, O Lord, may we draw closer to you as we seek to care for and serve those around us. May we love as You love: wastefully, generously, without condition. This we pray in Jesus name, AMEN.
