O God,
We call you by many names: Father, Mother, Heavenly Parent, Eternal Strength, Powerful One, Rock of our Salvation, Comforter, Creator, Author of Love, and on and on. Help us to understand you are more than any name mortals assign you. We pray for forgiveness, O Lord, when we attempt to define you and place you within the boundaries of our understanding. In these moments may we seek, not to define you, but to experience you. May we seek, not to name you, but to open our hearts to your love. May we seek, not to idolize your titles, but to be your agents in the world, following the model of Jesus. In his name we pray, AMEN.

Richard Cook, Bob Parks’ son-in-law, is having major surgery this morning. Please pray for Richard and his family.
Twyla Tefft's funeral is this morning at 10:00 a.m. at Ladusau-Evans.
Myra Maxwell, daughter-in-law of Bill and Betty Maxwell had surgery yesterday. Her husband Jeff is here from Afghanistan to be with her.
Valerie Driscoll will likely be hospitalized through the weekend because of an infection.
Barb Newton is in St. Mary’s because of an imbalance in her blood chemistry.
Judie Stock broke her heel and is wearing a "boot".
Please pray for all our sick and hospitalized.
Remember tonight is WWNF. The Adult Bell Choir will begin rehearsals at 7:30 p.m.
