Prayer for Christmas Day

Christ the path and Christ the door.
Christ the bread and welcome cup.
Christ the word and cleansing bath.
Christ the robe and Christ the fire.
Christ the dawn and blazing sun.
Christ the light and Christ the star.
Christ the beginning and the end.
Christ our life and Christ our home.
—Samuel Torvend

Dear God,

Thank You for the wonder and mystery of Christmas. We pray You will bless us, everyone. In Jesus name, AMEN.

Madge Loomis had hip replacement surgery yesterday. They kept her on a respirator in ICU at Bass through the night. She is doing better this morning. Please continue to keep her in your prayers.

Please continue to pray for Bill Brant and his family as they prepare for Beverly’s funeral on Monday.

CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS PROGRAM
ON PEGASYS WILL BE SHOWN
WEDNESDAY 12/29 AT 2 P.M.
FRIDAY 12/31 AT 8 P.M.

We celebrated two wonderful Christmas Eve Services last night.

Remember, tomorrow, bring a breakfast treat between 9:00 and 9:30 to the Fellowship Hall. We will share food and fellowship and then participate in a service of worship there. Remember, there is no 8:00 a.m. Chapel service. Nor will there be Sunday School.

Merry Christmas!!!!!!

Grace and peace,

Devotion for Today. Please read Luke 2:15-20:
All of the ACTIONS of the shepherds leapt off the page at me-
...go to Bethlehem and see...
… so they hurried off...
...they spread the word…
...glorifying and praising God…
It really embodies all that we are to do in our Christian lives.
As an unsaved person, we go and see what all the fuss around Jesus is about - and our lives are utterly changed!
How can we help but hurry off to spread the Word, glorifying and praising God all the while?
What are you waiting for? SPREAD THE WORD!
