Lord of Wonders,
We have just celebrated the greatest wonder of human history, the birth of Your love into the world in the form of a baby in Bethlehem. As we now journey through the twelve days of Christmas, may our hearts and lives receive Your grace. We have opened all the presents under the tree. Now may we live lives that embody Your greatest gift, the Spirit of Christ. In Jesus name we pray, AMEN.

Yesterday I received the following email from Mickie Giberson:
Debby Head, a co-worker at the bank, passed away last night. No details, but she has been in the hospital for a few days. She was a long time employee and very well liked. Her husband passed away a couple of years ago. I believe there is one adult son. Please pray for her family.
Thanks
Mickie Giberson
Please pray for Madge Loomis as she is recovering from hip surgery at Bass Hospital. Her daughter said she was doing better yesterday morning.
Remember the family of Beverly Brant in your prayers. Her funeral is tomorrow.
Please pray for Carolyn and me as we travel to Dallas this afternoon. I will continue a panel of tests tomorrow at Baylor, see the oncologist on Tuesday and return Tuesday afternoon. Hopefully I will return to Dallas on January 4th to begin the trial drug. I offer a special thanks to all who are praying for us, to the Genesis class for their gracious gift and to all who have given us “food cards”. We are touched by your generosity.
Today we gather around 9:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall to share breakfast items and fellowship. Worship will then be at 10:15 a.m.
Merry Christmas,
John McLemore
