Gracious God,
As we approach the end of 2010 we reflect on our journey. Often it is in looking back that we understand Your presence in our lives. Help us to know, Dear God, that You travel with us. Our boats are so small and the sea is so big. May we focus on our Polar Star, Jesus the Christ, and be comforted by the knowledge that His Spirit guides us during the calm and also the storm. We eagerly approach a new year, complete with its challenges and opportunities. In Jesus name, AMEN.

Lowell Kroeker is in Baptist Heart Hospital in OKC. He was flown there yesterday morning and underwent an emergency heart cath procedure. Stents were successfully placed and Lowell was resting comfortably yesterday afternoon. Please pray for Lowell.
Beverly Brant’s funeral is today at Ladusau-Evans.
Carolyn and I made it safely to Dallas. I am writing this from our motel room. Shortly I will drive to Baylor to begin the tests.
