God, Our Creator, Redeemer and Sustainer,
We humbly come before You this day with our prayers and supplications. You are our God and we are Your people. Often times, O Lord, we choose our own path based on self-centeredness and greed. Forgive us, we pray, when we stiffen our necks and make choices that move us away from You. You are goodness and light. May our path be illuminated by Your grace and our hearts filled with a love that grows as it is shared. In Jesus names we pray, AMEN.

Please pray for the family of Maxine Moore, Glennis Holler’s mother, who passed away yesterday. Her services are scheduled for Thursday.
Dillon Wichert, a 20 year old special needs young adult, died in his mother’s arms on Christmas morning. While not affiliated with Central Christian Church, they have asked if we could host the funeral and if I could preside. Certainly we will. Please pray for Dillon’s family. His funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the sanctuary.
Yesterday was interesting for the McLemore’s in Dallas. I hadn’t received full instructions so the CAT scan scheduled for 11:00 a.m. was moved to later in the day. The bone scan was completed and a lot of blood was drawn for lab work. As it turns out the DXA scan WAS NOT scheduled and couldn’t have been done the same day as a bone scan anyway. When they talked about me coming back for the DXA scan I reminded them I had to drive 300 miles to get here. They emailed the drug company and received permission for me to have the DXA scan at the Women’s Imaging Center IN ENID on Thursday. O well!
We see the oncologist this morning and I am scheduled to return on January 4th to actually begin the trial drug. Thank you for all the prayers and words of encouragement. We will return to Enid late today.
Grace and peace,
John McLemore
