Tonight is WWNF. At 6:30 there will be adult classes and Family Fun Night. Sonya Waldrip asked me to announce they need board games. So look through your closet and bring board games for the family fun people to use this evening.

Anita Townley fell and broke her hip. She had surgery yesterday afternoon at St. Mary’s hospital. She is in Room 305.

Ruth Webb had back surgery yesterday at St. Mary’s. She is in Room 222.

Imogene Price is still in the ICU at St. Mary’s. Room 348.

Please pray for Anita, Ruth and Imogene and continue your prayers for Sophia Farmer.

Linda Crabbs is having surgery this morning to repair a severely broken upper arm. Please pray for Linda.

LaVona Irwin’s funeral is this morning at 10:00 am at the Carmen Christian Church.

Please pray for Lana Ellis’s brother, John. His health is continuing to fail.

Don Johnson is on vacation this week. John and Sally Wheeler are at church camp this week.

Please pray for our new slate of deacons and elders. They were approved by the Board yesterday and will be voted on in special Congregational Meetings during all three morning services of worship next Sunday.

A special thanks to Kristy Petersen, our outgoing moderator. She did and OUTSTANDING job this last year.

Linda Crabbs fell at work and severely broke her arm on Thursday. She will have surgery in OKC on Monday. Please pray for Linda and Glenn.

LaVona Irwin’s funeral is tomorrow at 10am at the Carmen Christian Church. LaVona is Jana Harvey’s mother.

Jana Harvey's mother, LaVona Irwin, passed away. Her funeral will be at 10:00am on Monday at the Carmen Christian Church. Our Caregivers made regular calls on LaVona.

Imogene Price is in ICU at St. Mary's. Sophia Farmer is in ICU at Bass. Max McSparrin, Dortha Immel's brother, is in Bass Room 206.

Eric Koegel, Connie Koegel's son, had surgery yesterday in Dallas.

Steve Henson, Marietta Henson's son, has health issues.

Please pray for these individuals and families.

Bill Shaw sent the following email:
John, Sherry's daughter, Major Elizabeth North is preparing for a new assignment with the surgeon general's office in Washington DC. Also, our son-in-in law from Tulsa, Grant Brown, is heading for training in death valley on July 4th for training in preparation for deployment to either Afghanistan or Iraq later in the fall. Please add these to the military service members for prayers for their safety.

Please pray for Elizabeth, Grant and all our military.

We have a number of members traveling this weekend. We have a number of adults, youth and children going to church camp. May God be with all of our members who are away.

Don't forget....there is a special board meeting tomorrow (Sunday) in the sanctuary, immediately after the 10:15 am service. There will be a brief Property Committee meeting immediately after the board meeting.

Imogene Price is in St. Mary's ICU 348. Her lungs filled with fluid last night. She is stable this morning. Please pray for Imogene and her family.

 

Please continue your prayers for Sophia Farmer.

 

Cheryl Sargeant emailed to say the her husband, Tom, has prostate cancer. Please pray for Tom and Cheryl.

 

Our daughter, Katherine McLemore, went to her neurologist yesterday. They are running more tests but they think most of her problems are migraine related. Thank you for your continued prayers for Katherine.

 

Sally Wheeler and James Phillips are directing, and Amanda Phillips and Melanie Novak are counseling at Discovery Camp today through Sunday. CYF Conference starts Sunday. Our CYF campers are Jameson Davis, Meghan McAnally, Brae McLemore, Mark Johnson and Zach Jones. Randy Johnson is counseling at Junior Camp which starts Monday. Our Junior Campers are Sierra Yniguez, Meg Bloom, Molly Bloom, Sarah Johnson, Emily Angleton, and Loren Anderson. Please pray for this children, youth and adults. 

 

Sunday there will be a brief special Board Meeting in the front of the sanctuary immediately after the 10:15 am Sanctuary worship. After that meeting there will be a brief meeting of the Property Committee.
