God of Comfort,
Please pour out your spirit on those grieving this day, specifically for the Smith-Kroeker and Jones families. We know, O Lord, that death is as natural as birth. As people of faith we also know that death is a transition into Your boundless and eternal mystery. May those suffering separation and a sense of loss find comfort in You, Loving God. You are our shepherd. We fear no evil. Even as we walk through the valley of the shadow of death we know You are with us and we give You thanks. AMEN.

Please pray for Kolten Gilley, LeAnn Wheat’s great-nephew. He is in Children’s Hospital in OKC with bone infections.
Please continue to pray for Jim Walta. He has undergone various surgeries and is still in very critical condition at the OU Medical Center in OKC.
The scripture for today is Colossians 4:2-6:
Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with thanksgiving. At the same time pray for us as well that God will open to us a door for the word, that we may declare the mystery of Christ, for which I am in prison, so that I may reveal it clearly, as I should.
Conduct yourselves wisely toward outsiders, making the most of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer everyone.
Grace and peace,
John McLemore
