Loving God,
We are hurrying to get those last minute items checked off our list before Christmas. Sometimes it is hard to appreciate the beauty and majesty of Christmas because of all the frenetic activity. Forgive us, Lord, for not seeing the manger because of all the tensile and wrapping paper. Today we pause, intentionally, to experience the power of the true meaning of this season. We give You thanks as we prepare our hearts for the coming of Immanuel. In Christ’s name we pray. AMEN.

Please pray for Jason Stuever’s father , Charlie Stuever, who was in a severe car accident yesterday and is in ICU at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Please pray for Dr. Ron Schreck. He suffered a stroke over the weekend.
Clo Rine and Randy Conrady are still hospitalized.
The Stewardship Committee meets tonight at 6:30 p.m. All Committee Chairs are to meet at 7:30 p.m. so that we can finalize the budget for 2012.
