Loving and Gracious God,
We open our hearts to You today, thanking You for all our blessings. May our lives truly be a doxology. Forgive us, we pray, when we fail to see the signs of Your grace all about us. Forgive us, Lord, when our vision of Your reign is dulled by the small events of daily living. Grant us Your peace we pray, and empower us to share Your love with the world. In Jesus’ name we pray. AMEN.

I am writing this email from the Sammons Cancer Center in Dallas. Carolyn and I left our home this morning at 4:00 a.m. I have had extensive blood work, just took the drugs and will need to do more blood work at noon. Then we are headed home. I will have to come back at two weeks and four weeks, then monthly. We are off to the races!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I haven’t heard from Ed Krausse since the evening of Bertie’s surgery. We plan to stop to see them on our way home today.
Gary Hula is still dealing with blood clots.
Please continue to pray for Bertie and Gary.
Ruth Weston had been hospitalized but was dismissed yesterday. Please keep Ruth in your prayers.
