O Design Presence,
Our journey brings us joy, yet sometimes we are perplexed by life's contradictions. We believe, O Lord, that you are good and that you love us. In those moments our hearts are then filled with joy, and we give you thanks. We are troubled, however, when we see the pain and suffering of good people. Such realizations may cause us to question your goodness. Please forgive us, O God. May we understand that you are present, perhaps even more present, to us, when we deal with the difficulties inherent in the human condition. Embrace us, we pray, with your everlasting arms. Please bring us comfort and solace when life throws us a curveball. May we celebrate your love in all circumstances. This is our prayer in Jesus’ name. AMEN.

We continue to pray for all of our sick, hospitalized, and those recovering at home. Specifically, we pray for Bert Sims, Neta Smith, June Frei, Randy Conrady, and Jean Lisi (Frank Bunch’s sister).
Please offer special prayers for Letha McGuire , who was recently placed on hospice care.
If you are interested in a transcribed copy of last Sunday's “Talking Faith: What Does God Do?” Sermon. It is available at the Welcome Center.
If you are interested in the actions of our Church Board, then go to the literature rack in the loggia next to the kitchen door. There you will find copies of the church bylaws, personnel policies, board minutes, Sally Wheeler’s approved maternity leave, and other relevant documentation.
