Eternal Guide,
We begin each new day, O Lord, desiring to experience happiness, a sense of accomplishment, and peace. There are days when these things do happen. Unfortunately, there are days when they do not. Today, Dear God, may our focus be on benefiting the lives of others. May our speech, our demeanor, and our receptivity bear witness to your love for all. A kind word and a supporting gesture may make all the difference in someone else's day. Forgive us, we pray, when our focus is only on ourselves. Help us to remember that we truly receive only that which we give away. In Jesus’ name we pray. AMEN

Mary Ruth Cooper is now back in her home. Neta Smith is recovering in her home. Leslie Ballew is recovering at home from her back surgery. May God's healing presence sustain them.
