God of All Creation,
The fresh snow has given us a reason to stay inside and allow our students and school teachers to sleep late. It brings a brightness and freshness to your creation, and we give You thanks. It also brings to our thoughts those who have inadequate shelter and inadequate clothing. May our eyes be opened this day, Dear God, to the needs of others around us. Fortunately, for many, the snow and cold will not last long, but the needs persist. May we be blessed as we share. It is in Jesus’ name we pray. AMEN
