Most Loving God,
We bow before you this day, surrendering our all to You. It is difficult, Lord, for us to be submissive, even to You. Please forgive our individual, "I can do it myself" posture. During this season of Lent may we confess our lack of trust, our false self-reliance, and our lack of humility. Please empower us, Loving God, with the strength and courage to be humble. In Jesus’ name we pray. AMEN
