Almighty God,
On this first Sunday of Lent, as in all the Sundays of Lent, we celebrate Resurrection. May our witness be born out of experience, not out of intellectual assent. We open our hearts to you, Loving Lord, and we are filled. Your grace overwhelms us, even as we are unworthy. You reach out to us, even as we turn away. You forgive us, even as we continue to sin. The spirit of Christ lives with us. Indeed, our witness is born out of experience and we give You thanks. AMEN.

Our thoughts go out to those families and friends in Enid who were impacted by suicide this last week. May God's grace and comforting presence abound.
Please continue to pray for Sandy Harris, Karen Stockwell, Peggy Overstreet, Jim Goodrich, Liz Beaty, Rick Kiovsky, Randy Conrady, as well as those other members and friends of our church family who are ill or struggling.
