O Sacred Heart,
You call to us and beckon us to be in relationship with you. Our free will allows us to choose. Often we respond and turn into Your embrace. There are times, however, when we turn away from you, sometimes intentionally, many times because another path is easier. Please forgive us, loving God. May we respond to your love with decisive actions. May we respond to your grace with positive intentions. As we feel the embrace of your Everlasting Arms, may we seek to live lovingly in relation to others. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
