O Divine Presence,
We allow so many blocks in our lives, Loving God, that it is easy to feel separated from You. Our schedules, our priorities, our debts, and our desires stand between us and You. We can even be disengaged by the busyness and pettiness of the church. Please forgive us, we pray. May your spirit help us strip away all the distractions. May we embrace the purity of your love and the wonder of your grace, allowing our lives to be faithfully ordered, spiritually disciplined, and completely devoted to You. This is our prayer in Jesus’ name. AMEN.
