Prayer for Today, Tuesday, February 28

O Lord our Lord,

We continue through Lent, seeking to be penitent. We confess we take so many of our blessings for granted. Forgive us we pray. May we be thankful for the everyday experiences of Your grace. May we be mindful of all those small events that give us joy. Even as we reflect on the suffering of the cross, may we be open to Your unending love expressed there and through all eternity. It is in Jesus' name we pray. AMEN.

____________

Please continue to pray for our sick, hurting and grieving members and friends. May God's peace abound.

I am writing this email from the waiting room at the Sammons Cancer Center at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas. I am taking more tests, doing more lab work and then getting another round of the drugs.
