Companion of the Lonely,
Today, O God, we pray your Spirit will empower us to open our eyes and see the needs of those around us. May we seek to do random acts of kindness and caring. We are given the mandate to share our faith. May we recognize an opportunity to do so today with gentleness, compassion, and love. This we pray in Jesus’ name. AMEN

Liz Beaty received encouraging news yesterday. Her cancer is localized in a few lymph nodes under her arm. These will be removed surgically. If the pathology report indicate it is the same cancer she had before, then she will likely not have to do chemotherapy. Please continue to lift Liz up in your prayers.
Harry Hammonds is in Pauls Valley babysitting his granddaughter. Harry informs us that, yesterday, when preparing to board a flight to Chicago, Amanda, Harry's daughter-in-law, received word that her great uncle, Benny, was killed an automobile accident. Please pray for Benny’s family.
We received word yesterday that Frank Bunch’s sister passed away. Please pray for her family.
