God of Light,
We yearn to live in the light, O God, yet there seems to be so much darkness around us. Sometimes it is overwhelming. In those moments we feel isolated, empty, and alone. Come to us, we pray, in ways that we can understand. We hope for that small flicker of a candle flame. May our eyes be opened to see You. May our hearts be receptive to your unending grace. May we feel the embrace of your everlasting arms. May the light of Your love dispel the darkness. In Jesus’ name we pray. AMEN.

Our beloved Beryl Bigger died Wednesday evening at St. Mary's hospital. Her funeral is tentatively scheduled for 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 24, in our sanctuary. I'm sure she is now accompanying that great heavenly chorus. Please pray for Beryl’s family and her great host of friends.
Jimmy Davis’s mother, Alma Davis, has been put on hospice care. The doctors have said she has 3 to 6 months to live. Please pray for Alma, Jimmy, and the entire Davis family as they make this journey.
Randy Conrady’s funeral was one of the best attended at Central in recent years. It was a great outpouring of support for Randy's family and friends. Please continue to them up in your prayers.
Laura Deatherage is recovering from her knee replacement surgery at home. The Doctor wants her to do rehab at a rehab facility rather than using home health. She is to go three days a week for two weeks. Transportation has been arranged for today. If you would be willing to help Laura get to rehab, then please call the church office. We already have two volunteers to cover two of the trips.
