Prayer for Today, Monday, March 12

God of Creation,

You know us to the depths of our being, yet you love us. Open our eyes, we pray, so that we might see the clutter that is within us. Help us, O Lord, to do some "housecleaning" as we journey toward Easter. Please help us, Gracious God, to rearrange our priorities, our attitudes, and even our outlook so that we might be more in tune with You. As a church, may we earnestly and honestly seek to discern your will for our future. Help us to hold onto those things that are eternal and turn loose of those things that hinder faithfulness and growth. This is our prayer in Jesus’ name. AMEN.
