O Divine Love,
Today, we pray for our neighbors, those next door, across the street, and around the corner. Jesus calls us to love them as we love ourselves. Please forgive us, O Lord, when we don't even know their names. Empower us, we pray, to reach out to them, to care for them, and to witness to them in deed and word. This is a wonderful time of year to invite people to church. Help us, Gracious God, to invite our neighbors. In Jesus’ name we pray. AMEN.
