Prayer for Today, Sunday, June 3

Steadfast God,

Change is whirling all around us, so much so that often we lose our bearings. The old signposts and patterns are no longer meaningful in the contemporary world. Help us to remember, Loving God, that you are changeless and eternal. Only the temporal is transforming. May we use Christ as our Polar star so that we can navigate through these uncharted waters. You are constant and faithful, Creator God. May we trust in You. In Jesus’ name we pray. AMEN.

Mary Ruth Cooper is home. She was dismissed from St. Mary’s Hospital yesterday. Please continue to pray for Mary Ruth as she recovers and regains her strength.

Today is the last performance of “Children of Eden”. If you haven’t seen it, you are in for a real treat. The performance begins at 2:00 p.m.

A new class on sharing our faith is being discussed. You are invited to a conversation about what this class should include at 6:00 p.m. in the library.

A number of our children and middle school students are off to church camp tomorrow along with John Wheeler and Laurie Bushman as counselors. Please pray for these campers and sponsors.
