Prayer for Today, Wednesday, September 18

Gracious God,

 

There are times when we let the busyness of the church get in the way of the ministries You call us to do. Please forgive us, Holy One. May we feel sent into the world in Jesus’ name. May we be prompted to action after each class, study, meeting, or worship experience. Help us to understand “faith” as a verb. Please bless our actions as we reach out to others according to our abilities. This is our prayer in Jesus’ name. AMEN.

The funeral for Chester Ross will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. in the sanctuary with a meal following the graveside service. Please pray for Doris, her children, and their families.

 

This evening I will conclude the study I have been teaching in WWNF. We will focus on the future. Please plan to participate. Your ideas and input will be important. The class starts at 6:15 in the fellowship hall.

 

This evening at 7:30 the Board will meet in the multi-purpose room.
