Prayer for Today, Saturday, October 13

Loving God,

 

We come to You as children, seeking Your love. We come to You as adults, seeking Your blessing. We come as we are, with all our foibles and sin, and we repent, asking for Your forgiveness. We say there is more grace in You than sin in us, yet the words stick in our throats because we know our own hearts. Please cleanse us and help us to be more than we have been. This is our prayer in Jesus’ name. AMEN.

Please pray for the Hula family. The funeral for Gary’s mother, Grace, is this morning in Medford.

 

There is a deacons meeting tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. in the sanctuary. ALL deacons are encouraged to attend. There will be hands-on training.

 

The Pastor’s Cabinet will meet this Wednesday for 45 minutes at 7:30 p.m. We will discuss the financial statement, Kids Central, the fall stewardship campaign, and “How to Share Your Faith”. All board officers and committee chairs are strongly encouraged to attend.
