Prayer for Today, Friday, April 12

Most Holy God,

 

Today we pray for those who are confused and upset. Many people don’t like themselves. They have low self-esteem and no self-confidence. May we be present to them, O Lord, and help them to know they are loved and accepted. Be with the vulnerable and the naïve. Protect them against those who would want people to take advantage of them. You are our comforter and light in the darkness. Please guide our ways. In Jesus’ name we pray. AMEN.

The funeral for Kayte Anton’s grandfather is this morning in California. Pray for his family.

 

Please pray for A.K. Manahan. He had back surgery in Tulsa and is in Hillcrest Hospital.

 

Please pray for Carolyn’s cousin, Jo Ann Keltch. She had a stroke and was air lifted to OKC yesterday.

 

Please pray for the family of Tim Pickle (a family friend). His funeral is this morning in Kingfisher.

 

I did my second radiation treatment this morning and will be doing this every weekday morning at 8:45 for 28 sessions. Thank you for your continued prayers.
