Prayer for Today, Thursday, April 18

Divine Presence,

Natural and human disasters are a part of our experience, yet we are never fully prepared to deal with them. Our prayers go out for the people in West, Texas; for the people in Boston; and for the untold numbers of people who have faced tragedy in their lives. In the midst of devastation, may the victims feel Your presence and know Your love. Work through us, Loving God, so that healing might occur. May our lives bless those in need. This is our prayer in Jesus’ name. AMEN.
