God With Us,
We are tempted to see only struggle and bad news in the world around us. Help us to remember there are stories of hope, peace, and human flourishing in our midst. Help us to be the human agents of Your divine grace. May our lives be transformed and transforming. This is our prayer in Jesus’ name. AMEN.

Please pray for Carolyn Huber’s sons and their families. Her funeral was yesterday.
I received word this morning that Mrs. Floyd (Virginia) Allen, a former member, has passed away. She and Floyd live in Spiro. There will be a service at Ladusau-Evans, probably on Wednesday.
Emmy Brown is in St. Mary’s after fainting at the church yesterday. Leo Conrady is in St. Mary’s after surgery to repair a broken hip. Please pray for Emmy and Leo.
Please continue to pray for Larry Rogers, Marcia’s husband, for Kay Allison’s sister, Donna Kunz, for John Stephens.
The CWF Bazaar is NEXT WEEK. All proceeds will go to support missions. This is now an all-church activity. The whole church is invited to bring baked goods by next Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.
Volunteers are needed to help with setup on Tuesday morning beginning at 10:00 a.m. and then men are encouraged to come on Tuesday evening. Of course volunteers are welcome during the entire event.
Regarding the Bazaar, they have plenty of “2nd chance” items. Thank you to those who have donated, but we have enough.
Because of the work being done for the Bazaar in the fellowship hall and loggia we have CANCELED WWNF next week, no meal, no classes.
Tonight is the wedding for Ryan Allen and Mitch Zaloudek. Please lift up this couple in your prayers.
We have made arrangements for a NEW PICTORIAL DIRECTORY! Lifetouch studios will be at the church December 9-14! Click the link to make your reservation now! https://www.securedata-trans14.com/ap/centralchristianchurch2/index.php?page=10
Tomorrow is our Consecration Sunday when we will dedicate our estimated giving to God through Central Christian Church for 2014. If you have not done so, PLEASE bring your estimate tomorrow.
There is an Elder’s meeting tomorrow at 4:00 p.m. in the Parlor.
Grace and peace,
John McLemore
