Prayer for Today, Saturday, May 10

O God,

There are times we wake and greet the day with hope and eager anticipation. There are other times we want to bury our head in the pillow. Life is filled with opportunities for joy and also stress. Family, friends, job, health, and so many other issues can lift us to high places or drop us into the depths. May we stand on the rock of Your presence with us, O Lord. May the awareness of Your love bring us to a calm and inner peace that is the same regardless of the circumstances around us. We open our hearts to You and pray in Jesus’ name. AMEN.

I received the following email from Nancy Hohmann: “Hi John,

Please pray for these family and friends.
