Prayer for Today, Sunday, June 29

O God of Tender Mercies,

We are often driven by good intentions, only to realize we have invaded others personal lives. We claim “Christian concern” when we share stories that are tantamount to gossip. Forgive us, O Lord, for our insensitivity. May we always remember to treat others as we would want to be treated, to speak of others as we would want others to speak of us, and to care for others as we would want to be cared for. Your grace abounds. Help us to be thoughtful, concerned, loving and sensitive people as we seek to be and live the Good News of Jesus Christ. It is in His name we pray. AMEN.

Mission Enid begins in 8 days. Mission Enid needs volunteers! Sign-up sheets are located in the loggia on the large board. There is something for everyone, and everyone can do something! It will be "all hands on deck" to make Mission Enid a success. Please join the fun!
