Loving God,
This Sunday we honor our veterans. Help us, loving God, to celebrate their commitment, their service, and their sacrifice. While we do not celebrate violence and war, we do give thanks for those who, as an act of duty and valor, stand in harm’s way. Bless them, O Lord. This is our prayer in Jesus’ name. AMEN.

A number of our youth and their sponsors are leaving this afternoon for a weekend regional youth event. Please pray that they have a spiritually enhancing experience.
Please pray for an unnamed young woman who is filled with pain and anger and who takes it out on family and friends. Pray that she experiences God’s love in ways that she can understand.
