Most Holy God,
We scurry from place to place, idea to idea, concept to concept. . .seeking to find contentment and joy. These efforts are futile. Help us to realize our hope is in You. You complete us. You make us whole, even in the midst of difficult situations. Help us, Loving God, to trust in You and to live in the hope that comes to us through Jesus our Lord. This is our prayer in His name. AMEN.

Yesterday I received the following email from Loretta Drennan-Richey: “Penny Drennan Holloway had to have emergency surgery yesterday at Bass Hospital. She had a tubular pregnancy and the left tube ruptured. They sent her home last night a little after midnight so she is home recovering. Also, I spoke with Catherine Cullumber this morning and she is ill with a respiratory infection. She is going to have her son take her to a doctor today. With her COPD she has a tough time getting over this type of illness. So Penny, Mark and Catherine can all use a little extra prayer. Loretta”
This is a full day at Central. It is a good day to bring a friend with you.
We had a great group help us decorate the sanctuary yesterday. “Thank you” to all who lended a hand.
