Divine Grace,
We place so many barriers between You and us. Usually they are the result of our selfish desires and self-centered approach to life. Please forgive us, Loving God. The message of this season is that You reach over those barriers, even when we are unwilling to receive You. You embrace us, even as we back away. May we be willing to accept Your Love. May we turn toward You and be filled by Your grace. This is our Advent prayer. In Jesus’ name. AMEN.

Chester Ross and Clo Rine are both patients at St. Mary’s Hospital. Clo is being released today. Chester will likely be released tomorrow. Please pray for Chester and Clo.
Catina Sundvall had successful outpatient surgery on her leg yesterday. Please pray for her continued recovery.
Gene Brintnall has been moved to Greenbrier Nursing Home. Please continue to pray for Gene.
Sally Wheeler sent the following email: “Hi John, Baby Pierce Mayfield, who I has asked prayers for, passed away yesterday. She was 5 ½ months old. I haven’t seen her daddy in years, he is my cousin Trevor’s best friend, and I have met that sweet baby in pictures but I can only imagine the pain and loss this family is feeling. Please keep Tucker, Tasha and 3 year old Payton in your prayers as they begin to pick up the pieces and find courage to move forward.”
Carolyn has asked for prayers for Gib Dolezal and his wife. They have been evacuated from their home in Estes Park because of fires.
