Most Gracious God,
There are events in life over which we have no control and yet they cause us worry and sometimes even despair. May we find the strength to surrender them to You, O Lord. May our time and energy be spent dealing with issues that we can effect. Help us to be a positive influence where we can and help us release those situations where we have no control. This is our prayer in Jesus’ name. AMEN.
