Prayer for Today, Tuesday, July 2

Ever-Present God,

 

Today we offer personal prayers for family members or friends who are facing difficulties. We pray, O Lord, that You will hold them close. Even though they may not have a strong faith, may our faith and prayers lift them up. Help us to be a blessing to them , O God, as we extend love and caring. Please embrace them on their difficult journey and give them strength. In all things we pray that Your will be done in Jesus’ name. AMEN.

Howard Schaffer died yesterday morning at Greenbrier. He was in poor health, but his death was quite unexpected. Please pray for Peggy and her family. His funeral will likely be on Friday in the chapel.

 

There will be congregational meetings this Sunday during all three of our morning services.

 

Because of July 4^th, there are no evening activities at the church tomorrow (Wednesday) and the church office will be closed on Thursday and Friday.
