O God,
Words are easy. Deeds are often difficult. We say we want our church to grow. We bemoan the empty pews, but, in reality, we often say that is “someone else’s job”. You call us to make Disciples, O Lord. May we find ways to share the good news with our neighbors and friends and bring them to church. It is always a matter of relationships: ours with You, with our friends, and, ultimately, theirs with You. Use our actions, O Lord, as well as our words. We offer this prayer in Jesus’ name. AMEN.
