Prayer for Today, Saturday, January 4

O Divine Presence,

        

When we go through dark times, O God, give us a glimpses of light. May we never lose our hope and trust in you. Help us to remember that, however hard the path, however dark the tunnel, You are there guiding us toward Your light. We pray this prayer in Jesus’ name. AMEN.

Maxine Ireland is in the Bass Pavilion. Teena Cornett was released from Bass Hospital. Please pray for Maxine and Teena.

 

Denny Krick’s mother passed away in Florida. She was 100 years old. Please pray for the Krick family.

 

Please pray for the family of Ruth Freeman. Her funeral will be in the sanctuary on Monday at 11:00 a.m.

 

Beth Henneke has asked for prayers for her brother and sister-in-law. Judy has been under hospice care for several months and Dan has been caring for her at their home.  Their house burned down on Tuesday. Please pray for  Dan and Judy Parks.

 

Tomorrow, January 5, we will undecorated the church IMMEDIATELY AFTER the 10:15 a.m. services. We will take down all the decorations and store them in their appropriate places. If a number of people can stay we should be done in less than 45 minutes and still have time to go to lunch or watch football. Please plan to stay and help.
