Prayer for Today, Thursday, February 6

O Holy One,

We understand if we seek You first then everything else in our life will take it’s appropriate place, but that is so hard for us. Please forgive our weakness and lack of will. You are our God. May our hearts be open. May our spirits be willing. May our resolve be strengthened so that we may truly seek You first. In Jesus name we pray, AMEN.

THE CHURCH OFFICE IS OPEN TODAY!

                

We have received word that Jan Hopkins, who lives in San Antonio, has had a major stroke and is not expected to live very long. Please pray for Jan and her family.

 

Bob Parks had a pacemaker implanted, but he is still in St. Mary’s.

 

Bob Gregory is in St. Mary’s ICU with pneumonia.

 

Ottis Cornelsen, Gene Burkett and Ann Murrow are patients at St. Mary’s.    

 

Deloras Oringderff is now at Greenbrier.

 

Arlene Parrack  is now at Greenbrier.

                                

Marian Batterman is recovering from outpatient gall bladder surgery.

 

Bert Patton is recovering from an outpatient procedure at the Surgery Center.

 

Sandra Justice is recovering from surgery at St. Mary’s and should be dismissed today.

 

Suzanne Summers, daughter of Mary Beach, fell and shattered her kneecap. She will have surgery this week in OKC.

 

Please pray for all these family and friends.

 

Please pray for those among your family and friends who do not have an active relationship with God through a church. May you be led to bring them to Central.

 

I am teaching a Disciples 101 Class on February 16 & 23 at 9:00 a.m. in the multi-purpose room. We will discuss Disciples of Christ history and practices as well as those of Central Christian Church. Invite a friend and bring them to the class.
