Prayer for Today, Wednesday, July 9

O Divine Presence,

You ordained Your church to be Your agent in the world. Sometimes we succeed and share joy, hope and peace as we bear witness to Your grace. Sometimes we are perceived as judgmental, isolated and aloof. Forgive us, Loving God. Often we are the only picture others get of You. Empower us to extend forgiveness and acceptance in Jesus name. AMEN.

Mission Enid is underway!!!!! Everything is going well. Central is stepping to the plate with volunteers. I was told we have more than enough cookies. Now all we need is 2 liter bottles of pop. The Meals have been great. The kids are doing good work. Everything is well organized. Please continue to pray for the leaders, the youth, and the volunteers. Mission Enid is having a big impact on the participants and the community.

 

There will be a worship service each evening (tonight and Thursday) at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary. You are invited to join with the youth as we worship God.

 

Please continue to lift up Joyce McCoy and Wayne Galer.

 

Cyndi Stuart has asked for prayers for her sister, Karen White, who has been recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of leukemia.

 

We received word that Lowell Kroeker and Cheryl Swanson had knee replacement surgeries in OKC.  

 

Peggy Goodrich had a procedure on her knee. She is doing well and recovering at home.

 

Please pray for our family members and friends.

 

REMEMBER: There are no WWNF activities tonight because of Mission Enid.
