O Lord Our Lord,
Life is filled with beauty and we stand in awe. The majesty of creation: the mountains and streams, the fields and woods, the star filled skies, all invite us into an attitude of praise and thanksgiving. The wonder in a child’s face, the hope of parenthood, the dreams of youth, and the wisdom of the elderly also invite us to celebrate the works of Your hands. While You are a great mystery, we experience You in all that is. Thank You, O Lord, for eyes to see, minds to interpret, and hearts to love. In Jesus’ name we pray, AMEN.

Please continue to pray for Tyler Zander and Bryce Gannon.
Lift up L.V. Powell and his family. They need our prayers.
Today is V.B.S. Sunday. The 10:15 a.m. service will be a combined service as we celebrate Bridge Sunday (Promotion) and the “Shake It Up” Bible School. You won’t want to miss it.
Greet someone you don’t know very well at church today.
The scripture for today is Romans 15:1-6:
We who are strong ought to put up with the failings of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Each of us must please our neighbor for the good purpose of building up the neighbor. For Christ did not please himself; but, as it is written, “The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me.”For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, so that by steadfastness and by the encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope.
May the God of steadfastness and encouragement grant you to live in harmony with one another, in accordance with Christ Jesus, so that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Psalm for this week is Psalm 117:
Praise the LORD, all you nations! Extol him, all you peoples!
For great is his steadfast love toward us, and the faithfulness of the LORD endures forever. Praise the LORD!
Grace and peace,
John McLemore
