Gracious God,
We come to You in prayer as we begin our journey through Holy Week. This is such a special time. May we reflect on the last days of Jesus life and what his actions meant for all of human history. Help us to arrange our schedule, O Lord, so that we might remember the events of Jesus’ last days, and so that we might participate in the Holy Week services of the church. This we pray in Jesus’ name. AMEN.

Yesterday was a great day in the life of the church. We had four young people make their confessions of faith and we welcomed Dean, Bonnie, and Thomas Shaw into our membership. Plus we had numerous visitors. Thank you for making them feel welcome.
I received the following e-mail from Thom Bushman: “Friends,
Just learned this evening the my Uncle Dennis Vaseloff (from Durbin, IL) passed away after a long illness. He is my mother’s sister – Nancy’s—husband. Please keep Nancy and my cousins Denise, Paula, and Jackie in your prayers. Thom”
Please pray for Thom’s family.
Chester Ross, Vera French, and Karen Stockwell are all hospitalized. Please pray for them.
Shirley West will have cataract surgery on Wednesday morning. Please pray for a successful procedure.
