Prayer for Today, Wednesday, April 11

O Divine Spirit,

Your Spirit intercedes on our behalf, as the apostle Paul says, "with sighs too deep for words." So often, O Lord, we are unworthy of your grace and love. We seek our own ends. We ignore the plight of others. We demand to get "our way." Please forgive our self-serving actions. May we seek to discern your will for us, our families, and our church. May we be open to the guidance of your spirit. As we confess our sin, may your spirit of grace and peace flow over us. Transform us, we pray, into Your faithful servants. This we pray in Jesus’ name. AMEN.

Kristen Damery gave birth to a son, Penn Austin Damery, yesterday. He was 7 lbs 4 oz. and 20 inches long. Congratulations to Kristen and Dustin. WELCOME PENN!

Sally Wheeler and Chole went home from the hospital yesterday. Mother and daughter are doing well.

Karen Stockwell is now in Greenbriar Skilled Nursing. Please pray for Karen.
