God of Wonders,
We are a post-Easter people. We know the story. We ask, “What’s next?” now that the glorious celebration is over. May we understand the early disciples were still bewildered and confused by the empty tomb. It was only when the Risen Lord appeared to them and breathed the Holy Spirit into them that they were empowered to boldly share the Good News and the Christian faith then spread like a prairie fire. Breathe Your Spirit into us, we pray. May we be on fire for the Gospel. May we be Jesus bold disciples in the 21st century! This is our prayer in Jesus’ name. AMEN.

Sally Wheeler left during Sunday School yesterday to go to the hospital and Chloe was born at 12:40 p.m. 8 lbs. 2 oz. and 20 inches long. CONGRATULATIONS to Sally and John. WELCOME Chloe!
We had a wonderful Easter at Central Christian Church. There was an amazing Spirit present. Three services. Wonderful attendance. Baptisms and more Confessions of Faith. Outstanding music. A great day.
Carolyn and I safely traveled to Dallas, arriving around 9:30 p.m. Now doctor’s appointments today and tomorrow.
